Volunteer for Fremont tournament!

The Fremont tournament is a FLL Qualifying tournament. As such, teams that participate in this tournament are eligible to advance to the Northern California Championship Tournament - see the Northern California Advancement policy.

A very big thank you goes to Ms. Susan Hall in the Hopkins office for helping to get the facility use form signed off very quickly and Ms. Yvonne Alexander, a Hopkins science teacher, who worked out with the other teachers that we could use their classrooms for the day.  Please thank them both on behalf of your team, the program and all the kids!

Location/Directions

Hopkins Junior High
600 Driscoll Avenue
Fremont, CA 94539
<insert map here>

Hopkins is located at the intersection of Driscoll Avenue and Amapola Drive in the historic Mission San Jose District of Fremont.

The campus is located just off of Interstate 680. Take the 238/Mission Blvd exit and head north (away from Ohlone College). Driscoll Avenue is at the second light after the freeway intersection. Turn left onto Driscoll and the school will be on your left. [The original site, Mission San Jose HS, is one light closer to I-680 and there are fields / open space between the two schools - ie you can see the back of one school from the back of the other].

Judging Schedule              Competition Rounds

Detailed team schedule to be published before the tournament when all team/coach waivers, your registration payment is received and the team's adult volunteer has been submitted. Bringing a PIT challenge table to the tournament will "count" as providing a volunteer - we need 3 more.

Please confirm name and affiliation/city as this will be what is published in the tournament program - deadline for changes is December 3rd at 4pm.

NEW 12/3!   We are not using the team introduction form as we find that the judges are not able to effectively use it. With the way that the tournament is organized, judges have most of the afternoon to observe and get the information that would normally be included in this form.
