Girl Scouts/NASA Ames FLL Qualifying Tournament

NASA Ames in Mountain View, CA will be the site of the 1st annual Girl Scouts/NASA FLL Qualifying Tournament. The 2009 tournament will be held on Saturday, November 28th from approximately 8:00am to 5pm. The Girl Scouts/NASA Ames tournament is an FLL qualifying tournament for Northern California.

 

Cost/ Registration

The Girl Scouts/NASA Ames Qualifying Tournament will be charging $50 per team. Please finish paying quickly. Your team needs to mail all team and coach/mentor liability waivers ahead of time!

NASA Ames is located at Moffet Field in Moutain View just off 101 at Moffett Blvd.

To get to Building 3 from 101, take the Moffett Blvd. East, towards Moffett Field. Stop at the guard shack at the entrance to Moffett Field and present required identification (see note below). At the gate, Moffett Blvd. becomes Clark Rd. Follow Clark Rd., making a slight left to follow S. Akron Rd. Severyn Rd. is the 2nd intersection after getting onto S. Akron Rd.

Parking is available in the lots adjacent to Building 3, including the lot to the West of Building 3 or at the intersection of S. Akron Rd. and Severyn Rd. (South of Building 3).

 

Important Information:

All adults must possess a current, valid, government issued photo ID. Volunteers and participants will need to inform the guards that they are participating in the FIRST LEGO League Tournament/Competition and will then be directed to the Building 3 parking areas.
