NCaFLL Tournament Team Pre-Tournament Checklist - What to Email ahead of time!

What to do asap!:

1/13 update: #1 and #7 are most critical as these are used in the program book and need to be turned in to the printer - Reprieve given - Drop dead date is now Friday 1/16! Yeah!!! Posted a draft version (1/13, as of 3pm) for folks to look at for errors between now and then. Warning filesize is over 1MB.

Note - if you send Powerpoint, Word or other Microsoft Office files, please send only 2003 version of files (we don't have 2007 installed)

  1. Email team photo (in PNG, GIF or JPG) to teaminfo@playingatlearning.org
  2. Email robot picture (in PNG, GIF or JPG) to teaminfo@playingatlearning.org
  3. Email a one page 8.5"x11" team slide (preferred powerpoint, PDF also accepted) to teaminfo@playingatlearning.org   Please do not add a background to the slide but instead if you want a background, add it as a image - the background will get removed when I consolidate the entire slide into one deck. Do not add any slideshow animations or effects. Please do not list full names of team members - first name only is fine. [1/8] Here are some examples written out in PDF format from 2006..
  4. 1/15 update Thank you Greg Lempko for creating an editable version of Team Profile. Email completed profile to teaminfo@playingatlearning.org.
  5. Email the specific climate issue that your team picked for their project and a project title to teaminfo@playingatlearning.org.
  6. Email an Emcee team intro as text to teaminfo@playingatlearning.org. This would be 1 to 3 fun facts about the team as well as any sponsors - please include a note if the team is a rookie team or if not, how many years that the team members have participated in FLL. This information that will be given to the emcee and team announcer.
  7. Email 60 words (or less) a team overview including items such as your robot's name (if there is one) and the team's project title or climate issue - this information will be published in a commemorative tournament program.   If you list team member names, please do not include full names of team members - first name only is fine. Email as text to teaminfo@playingatlearning.org.
