The FIRST AmeriCorps VISTA mission is to create and expand the vision of FIRST by working in areas that have been deemed underserved: lower socio-economic communities, rural areas, and areas that have little to no support or resources to be able to easily access STEM initiatives. We are recruiting nationwide for youth disadvantaged by poverty. As a VISTA, you will work onsite with Playing At Learning in San Jose. You will receive training, become a member of the FIRST community, and have a platform to succeed and make connections.

Playing At Learning’s VISTA will be supporting the Northern California FIRST teams particularly for teams in / around our building in North-East San Jose.
