A FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Explore Festival is a fun, non-competitive celebration where small teams of young children (ages 6–10) showcase their hard work from this archeology-themed STEM season. Unlike FIRST events for older kids, there is no head-to-head competition; instead, the focus is on sharing what they learned and celebrating their creativity.
Typically lasting about 2 to 3 hours for each Festival session, teams in a session will set up a table display of their Team Model and Show Me Poster and then have a short review session with a pair of reviewers, and there will be additional optional activities such as a scavenger hunt, coloring sheets and more. At the end, each team will receive a recognition award based on the information shared with the reviewers.
