At each of the 33 November Qualifying Tournaments, Judges selected Innovation Candidate team(s) based on the teams’ innovative approach to solving this year’s Project Challenge.  These teams will compete at the NorCal Innovation Expo to select the 4 teams that will be our Northern California’s Regional Nominees.

FLL teams learn all about water, how we find, transport, use and dispose of it.

The Northern California FIRST LEGO League Innovation Expo is a competition designed to showcase the real-world, innovative solutions that our top teams created as a result of their challenge project.

FIRST LEGO League trains kids to think like innovators.  The Expo encourages and assists teams to further develop solutions to real-world problems that demonstrate originality and have the potential to add significant value to the world.
