We inspire, excite and motivate our youth into pursuing careers in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) workforce.
Our affordable and sustainable STEM programs open doors to the worlds of science and technology for all Northern California K-12 youth with a focus on ensuring access and participation for underrepresented minority and underserved youth. We have partnered with FIRST to deliver on this mission.
FIRST LEGO LEAGUE Explore is for K-4th graders working in teams of up to 6 members. Playing At Learning manages the FLL Explore program for Northern California.

FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is for 9th-12th graders working in a team of varying size, typically with 25 or more students. FRC Regional events are managed directly by FIRST staff called Regional Directors.
